Pettibone happy with Bauma trip

Northern Michigan's Pettibone made an appearance at Bauma, making the show a first for the company to exhibit at an international event, according to its Vice President of Sales and Marketing Pete Haikio. However, the company did not use the event to panel its Extendo telehandlers but to showcase its Cary-Lift heavy–duty loader line.

“It was real good for the international market” says Dave Dompler, international sales manager. He says the company serves the oil and gas, and mining sectors, and a lot of its existing customers from Japan and the Middle East at the show “were interested” in the Cary–Lift line.

The company did not feature its line of telehandlers because the machines are not CE certified. However, the company has hired a new sales engineer, the UK–native Michael O'Neill, who is currently working on the CE marking for the CaryLift line. Sources at the company confirm that eventually it does plan to make its Extendo series available in Europe.
