Pianigiani retires from Imer access
22 December 2022
Paolo Pianigiani, commercial director of Imer’s Access Division, will retire at the end of 2022.
He wil be replaced by Matteo Iori, the company’s customer care manager.
Pianigiani has spent his entire career at Italy-based Imer Group. During his tenure he was responsible for the company’s international growth through establishing commercial branches in the US, Spain, UK and France, before becoming managing director of the company’s Russian branch.
Following Imer’s acquisition of Iteco in 2010, Pianigiani led the team that developed Imer’s electric and RT scissor lifts and its latest range of spiders. He now focuses on commercial development across the group.
Apart from Imer, Pianigiani has also been involved across the wider access industry, and, for example, was a judge for the 2022 International Awards for Powered Access (IAPAs) and a speaker at this year’s Europlatform conference in Rome.
An Imer spokesperson said, “We would like to thank him for his hard work and dedication to Imer and wish him all the best for the future.”
Lori will take over the commercial director role from 1 January 2023. A leading figure in the company’s Access Division, Lori has developed significant skills in sales and after-sales, and has gained wide experience nationally and internationally, said Imer.
Lori will also oversee a reworking of the commercial division. The spokesperson added, “We will proceed with an appropriate and synergistic unification of functions on which we have been working for some time, in order to make the organisational model even more customer oriented.”
The commercial division will from now on incorporate customer care services, with the plan of strengthening the division’s operational structure.
