Ramirent, a subsidiary of Loxam Group, has successfully maintained and further enhanced its EcoVadis Gold Status.

The company said the recognition places it among the top 5% of companies evaluated by EcoVadis and highlights its dedication to sustainability and corporate social responsibility.

It said that by maintaining this status, it demonstrates a “strong commitment to environmental, social, ethical practices and responsible purchasing,” reinforcing its role as a “leader in sustainable business within its industry.”

EcoVadis is a SaaS company that provides comprehensive sustainability solutions, enabling organisations to manage, measure, and enhance their sustainability performance across the entire value chain.

The EcoVadis Ratings offer an in-depth assessment of a company’s sustainability practices in key areas such as Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. T

The ratings highlight a company’s strengths and also identify areas for improvement which encourages companies to focus their sustainability initiatives.

Sampo Sipari, head of sustainability, Ramirent Group, said, “EcoVadis and the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) are two of the most critical benchmarks for evaluating our sustainability efforts. While EcoVadis provides a comprehensive overview of our overall sustainability performance, SBTi specifically assesses our progress in decarbonization.”
