SAIA event to feature Layher tour, fall protection demo

On June 17, the Scaffold & Access Industry Association’s (SAIA) Region 5 will host a free regional event featuring a tour of Layher’s manufacturing facility, presentations, lunch and a rescue fall protection demo.

Set for 9:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Layher Chicago (1971 Marine Dr., Portage, IN) on June 17, attendees to the free event will hear about overhead protection, assisted self-rescue, assisted rescue and over-the-edge rescue, including a live rescue demonstration by the SAIA’s Fall Protection Council.
