SAIA to host CPT training during World of Concrete

For those looking to receive Competent Person Training (CPT) for suspended scaffolding, the Scaffold & Access Industry Association (SAIA) will host a course on January 17, 2022 during World of Concrete. Registration must be completed by December 10 (click here to sign up.)
The CPT - suspended scaffold training course will be held from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. at the Las Vegas Convention Center and will cover: all safety aspects regarding suspended scaffold stages, ropes, regulations, guardrail requirements, fall protection, hoists and installation components. It will be delivered by instructor Harold Gidish of SkyClimber.
The course format includes a combination of presentation, question-and-answer, hands-on component and a final exam. Participants who score 70 percent or higher on the written exam and display competency in building frame scaffolding will receive a Certificate of Completion for the course and wallet card from the SAIAU Training Program.
