Sany’s electric telehandler on show at IRE
28 April 2026
Sany will show its electric telehandler, the STH625E, at the International Rental Exhibition (IRE) in Maastricht on 2 to 4 June.
The machine is powered by a 34kWh LFP battery, which the OEM said would give an operating time of up to 8 hours.
It has a maximum lifting height of 6m and a payload capacity of up to 2,500kg. It is an electric version of the conventionally powered STH625 and the smallest of Sany’s range of telehandlers, which goes up to the STH1840, a 17.55m lift height, 4,000kg model.

The STH625E is charged via CCS2 DC or using Sany’s portable 230V – 370V AC charging cable.
The diesel version has the same dimensions and lifting capacity and is powered by a Deutz TD 2.9 Stage V engine.
First handlers in 2024
Sany introduced its first telehandlers in 2024 – the 14m STH1440 and the 18m STH1840 – followed by the STH742, a 7m, 4,200kg unit.
Also available is the STH936, which offers a lifting height of 9.6m and a payload capacity of 3,600kg.
The IRE show takes place alongside the APEX aerial platform show at the MECC venue in Maastricht, The Netherlands.
