Skyjack debuts electric RT scissor

Skyjack has announced the launch of the electric SJ6940 RTE at APEX, taking place in Maastricht this week. 

With a platform capacity of 363kg and a platform height of 12.19m, the new rough terrain unit is the tallest electric machine in Skyjack’s compact RT scissor class.

Engineered with productivity and jobsite versatility in mind, the SJ6940 RTE delivers the longest working area in its class, says the manufacturer, with a main platform at 3.38m in length.

A smart electric drive system and front oscillating axle tackles tough jobsite terrain and offers a 35% gradeability rating. Auto-leveling outriggers, standard on CE models, maximise usability.

These features, make these scissors ideal for indoor and outdoor construction, maintenance, and industrial applications.

The new RTE electric features high-performance AC electric drive motors and an AC pump motor system optimising torque, power, and speed. Smart 414 ah AGM battery power and universal smart charging technology maximises environmental performance.

The company’s four-level scissor stack, with a single-cylinder, is designed to significantly reduce leak points and simplifly maintenance, while the new unit is also paired with an smart electric drive system.
