Strong orders for new Leguan Lifts electric series at APEX

Leguan Lifts has announced a highly successful launch of its OptiTemp battery-powered All Terrain Series at APEX, with more than €2.5 million in pre-orders secured for first quarter 2027 deliveries.

The exhibition, which took place last week in Maastricht, provided an “exceptional platform”, said Leguan Lifts, for the new electrified series, which delivers diesel-equivalent performance while offering the benefits of zero-emission and silent operation.

“The electrified All-terrain Series attracted significant attention from rental companies, contractors, arborists, and infrastructure professionals,” said the company. “Visitors were particularly impressed by the fact that this is the first electric spider lift in the market which can perform any task just like the combustion engine versions.”

In addition, operators can now perform jobs that were previously restricted by noise and emission regulations, which are becoming increasingly common in urban areas. This expands the potential market and increases fleet utilisation, added the company. 

Exceeding expectations

“Coming to Maastricht, we knew this is a product which the rental companies across Europe have been waiting for. While we expected strong positive feedback, as this product was developed hand in hand with our key customers, the response at APEX 2026 and the Leguan VIP Event in Maastricht still exceeded all our expectations,” said Jori Mylläri, VP of sales and marketing at Leguan Lifts.

“Achieving over €2.5 million in sales during the exhibition days alone is a remarkable milestone. We closed deals across Europe and secured strong future interest from Asia and North America.
