UK aerial launches from XCMG

XCMG will be launching new access products into the UK at next month’s Vertikal Days exhibition.

Its presence at the show, which takes place 11- 12 May, will mark the first major UK appearance of XCMG’s MEWP division.

The company said it had been preparing its products for the UK market for some time. Mr Eden, export deputy director at XCMG MEWP, commented, “We have a long-term plan for the UK, since we have been doing well in Europe Union countries. We are always open to our customers and learn from the markets, to offer them better-localised products to meet our customers’ needs.”

XCMG is already present in more than 60 countries and has a full range of aerial lifts, which are also sold globally outside its main market China.

At Vertikal Days, XCMG will show the XGS22E and XGS28E telescopic boom lift, along with the XG0607DC, XG0807AC, XG1212AC and XG1412AC scissor lifts.

Among others, the company will be highlighting a couple of those products. One of them being the XGS28E boom lift, which features a 28.2m working height and limited 300kg basket capacity, and an unlimited capacity of 400kg. The platform has a width of 2.4m to provide space for materials and tools. It is powered by a Kubota Euro stage V and incorporates CAN and programmable controller technology for more automated operations. Secondary guarding and the emergency lowering system provides are both standard safety features.

The XG1212AC scissor is one of the manufacturer’s most popular models which offers 320kg at a working height of 12m. The electric-powered machine has non-marking tyres.

Pothole protection, emergency lowering and an intelligent control system are all features. In addition the electric XGA20ACE articulated boom lift, with 20.6m working height and lift capacity up to 256kg/350kg will be launched into the UK market.
