Zoomlion’s AI robots help produce an excavator every six minutes

Chinese construction equipment manufacturer Zoomlion is now using dozens of humanoid robots in its factories, with a specialised facility that harnesses AI now able to produce an excavator every six minutes.

Zoomlion, based in Changsha, China, said that its Zoomlion Smart City, which brings together 12 smart factories and over 300 production lines can also produce a scissor lift every 7.5 minutes, a concrete pump every 27 minutes, and a truck crane every 18 minutes.
