They are being used in the ‘Houten Flow Woning Concept van Bam’ represents an innovative approach to house construction. By using modular components and wood as the primary material, Flow offers flexibility and design freedom.

The homes are produced off-site in a dedicated factory, reducing construction time by as much as 75%. This time reduction is made possible in part by the specially tailored Omega track driven scissor lifts, which integrates with BAM’s construction process.

The first delivery of six lifts took place in the third quarter of 2024. Recently, the second delivery was completed, again with six machines. The final six units are scheduled for mid April 2025.

High capacity

The Omega 615TSE and 815TSE are fully electric crawler scissor lifts with a lift capacity of 1,500kg. In addition to being fully powered by lithium batteries, these machines feature several other

features including a hydraulic extension deck that increases the platform size by 2,6m. When fully extended, the work area measures 6m x 5.8m.

The Omega 615TSE offers a slightly less extensive deck, with a fully extended area of 6m x 3.4m.

To prevent damage to buildings and enhance safety for users and bystanders, the platform is equipped with multiple sensors. An advanced monitoring system ensures that the platform does not come into contact with objects.

The scissor lift can be operated from a fixed control panel on the platform, which is common for scissor lifts. Additionally a radio remote control allows full operation of all machine functions. Both the fixed and radio remote controls provide essential real-time data, including tilt angle, current platform load, and battery status.

Multiple 230V AC power outlets are installed on the platform. The 230V AC supply can deliver up to 1.5kW and is powered either by the lithium battery pack or an external 230V AC power source. This entire system is fully automated and monitored for seamless operation.
