United Rentals annual used equipment sale will take place on Thursday, November 21 at more than 100 company locations in the U.S. and Canada. United Rentals has more than 13,000 products available for sale that address worksite needs for construction, industrial and municipal organizations, the company said.

The “Blue Thursday” event, as the company has named it, features inventory that was originally sourced from top-tier OEM manufacturers. Items for sale include hand tools, light towers and generators, forklifts and material handling equipment, aerial work platforms and large equipment, such as earthmoving machines.

The Blue Thursday sale also includes specialty equipment, such as temporary power and HVAC applications and a variety of pumps. All equipment has received regular maintenance from United Rentals, according to the company.

“With more than 4,000 cat-classes of well-maintained equipment to meet worksite needs, there’s never been a better time to purchase used equipment,” said Paul McDonnell, executive vice president, and chief commercial officer, United Rentals. “With the end of the calendar year approaching, companies have the extra advantage of creating additional tax savings by purchasing needed equipment.”

United Rentals offers customers the United Guard extended warranty program which provides bumper-to-bumper coverage for components not designed to be replaced during the life of the product, such as motors, transmissions and more. United Rentals also offers a Customer Equipment Servicing program that provides equipment owners with professional inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs by expert United Rentals technicians at customer sites or at the more than 1,000 company branches across North America.

United Rentals also offers a financing program to helps buyers finance their purchases, covering all equipment-related costs including warranty and freight.
