AJ Access adds to training facilities

UK-based AJ Access has expanded its training facilities to offer a purpose built indoor training centre to cater to International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) and Prefabricated Access Suppliers’ and Manufacturers’ Association (PASMA) certified courses.

The new facility, at Caldicot, South Wales, offers two fully equipped classrooms, a conference room and indoor training area. The centre also offers parking and catering facilities.

According to senior training instructor and IPAF CAP Committee chairman Lee Simmonds the new facility enables AJ Access to offer an improved level of training, especially when the adverse weather conditions start to take over. “This facility has proved to be very popular with delegates when traditionally most training tends to take place outdoors. We can offer all IPAF courses: 1a 3a 3b 1b, harness, MEWPs for managers and CAP card in addition to PASMA, tower, low level access, first aid and may more courses,” he said.

The opening of the new training centre follows on from earlier investment by AJ Access in its sales and maintenance premises. The company supplies used access equipment and provides training and maintenance support from its facilities in Wales.
