Axolift has strengthened its position in the Indian market through a long-term partnership with Gemini, including local production.

Following the successful distributor agreement established last year, the collaboration between Axolift and Gemini has rapidly evolved into a full licensing partnership. The company said it was a clear reflection of the strong market response and the confidence both companies share in the future potential of the Indian access equipment sector.

The initial cooperation, supported by joint participation at industry exhibitions in India, has resulted in a substantial number of Axolift units introduced into the Indian market. Under the new licensing agreement, Gemini will manufacture, market, sell and service Axolift’s range of manual access products, including the company’s compact push-around scissor lifts, across India.

“Local production will enable faster delivery times, enhanced customer support and greater market responsiveness, while maintaining the high-quality standards associated with the Axolift brand,” said the company.

“India represents a strategically important growth market for Axolift, driven by the rapid expansion of large scale data centers, warehousing, logistics and industrial infrastructure projects.”

As the low level access market in India is still in an early stage of development, both Axolift and Gemini see significant long-term potential and aim to become market leaders in this emerging segment.

The launch of local production was reinforced by a recent visit from Massimo Grossele, CEO of Axolift, who personally inspected and approved the first machines produced in India.

Aahan Sethi, director of Gemini, commented, “We are extremely proud to see the first Axolift machines manufactured in India successfully entering the market. This achievement represents an important milestone after months of development, collaboration and commitment from both teams. We are confident this is only the beginning of a long and successful journey together.”

The partnership combines Axolift’s product technology with Gemini’s manufacturing capabilities, local market expertise and nationwide after-sales support network.
