Bronto boost UK window cleaning fleet

UK-based window cleaning specialist L&N Platforms has invested in a new 46m working height Bronto Skylift truck mount.

The Bronto S46XDT is part of the company’s ongoing fleet renewal and owners Lee Roebuck and Nicky Francis are already eyeing their next aerial platform, a 38m Bronto S38XDT scheduled to be delivered early 2026.

L&N visited Bronto headquarters in Finland last year to inspect the first new Bronto platform in their fleet renewal cycle. The visit marked the beginning of a strategic renewal plan designed to introduce newer, more capable units into their operations.

According to Roebuck, the company is ready for potential growth as market opportunities emerge.

“This new 46-metre unit will be the fifth Bronto in our fleet and we’re excited to be able to upgrade our older Brontos for new ones.”

The S46XDT will be used primarily for L&N’s window-cleaning operations. With its reach, stability and compact design, the platform offers valuable flexibility and versatility for navigating dense urban environments. “This particular 18 tonne chassis configuration works very well for L&N and it’s ideal for the work they do in London,” said Ian James, Sales Manager, Bronto Skylift.

Since L&N’s last visit to Bronto earlier in the year, Roebuck reported that it will continue to keep the fleet modern and  future ready.
