Italian access equipment manufacturer CTE has established a new subsidiary in France.

The formation of the subsidiary, which will be led by Jean-Noël Ayral as Sales Manager and Christophe Lalisse as Customer Care Manager, sees the opening of a new branch in the country.

Located near Bordeaux in Saint-Jean-d’Illac, CTE France will provide the manufacturer with a logistics structure that will give it direct access to the market.

This will allow the company to focus on the commercial and after-sales activities for its ZED, B-LIFT and MP truck-mounted platforms, and its TRACCESS spider lifts.

Marco Govoni, CTE Sales & Marketing Director and President of CTE France, said, “We hope that this new strategic setting will bring new life and stimulate growth by bringing the CTE brand back to where it deserves in a market - the French one - essential for the growth of our Group.

The move marks another key milestone on CTE’s international growth journey, which in 2002 saw the opening of CTE UK and, last year, that of CTE North America.

“In the history of CTE SpA, the French market has always been a strategic market, full of opportunities and important collaborations.

“For this reason, CTE SpA is taking important steps to ensure a widespread and quality presence in the area.”

The new subsidiary also builds on the distribution relationship between CTE and French manufacturer France Elevateur.

France Elevateur will now market two of CTE’s equipment models in France with its own brand, and CTE SpA will do the same in Italy with a van model produced by France Elevateur.
