Discover Battery to promote latest technologies at APEX

Discover Battery will be present at APEX 2026, integrated into a number of aerial platforms and industrial equipment showcased by OEMs, battery distributors and industry partners across the exhibition.

Today, various scissor lifts, boom lifts and vertical masts use Discover Battery’s AGM and Lithium technologies. The company was also recently shortlisted for the IAPA Innovative Technology Prize 2026 with its Hydro Polymer AGM innovation.

The technology improves electrolyte stability at nano-structural level, helping reduce common causes of premature battery failure such as heat stress, electrolyte dry-out, stratification and inconsistent charging, and is already integrated into Discover’s Dry Cell Traction AGM range. 

According to the company, it continues to invest heavily in sustainability, recyclability and digital traceability initiatives for industrial batteries. It is actively preparing for the future EU Battery Passport requirements and has developed a long-term approach focused on circular material selection, halogen-free recyclable polypropylene (PP) battery casings and improved lifecycle transparency.

Meeting sustainability challenges

Throughout APEX, Discover representatives will be available onsite to meet with OEMs, rental companies, service providers and distributors to discuss AGM and Lithium solutions, future Battery Passport regulations, sustainability strategies and the evolving energy requirements of modern MEWP fleets.
