Axolift signs Portugal distribution deal

Low level access specialist Axolift has entered into a partnership with Porto-based Equipleva to distribute its full range of equipment in Portugal.

The cooperation represents an important step in the expansion of its European network, said Axolift, which is part of the Gromet group. In addition, Equipleva’s sister company Rentacesso, with locations in Porto, Lisbon and Algarve, will also include Axolift products in its rental portfolio.

Rui Pinto, CEO of Equipleva, said, “We are extremely pleased with the cooperation with Gromet/Axolift. As a specialist in safe and ergonomic solutions for both access equipment and logistics, these products perfectly match our focus on quality and safety.”

Massimo Grossele, CEO of Axolift, added that the partnership fits seamlessly into the company’s strategy to be represented across Europe.

“Equipleva and Rentacesso are two leading players in the Portuguese market, with a strong focus on quality products and safety. Like Gromet/Axolift, they are a family-owned business, which makes this collaboration even more valuable.”

Following the deal, Axolift’s first P300 scissor lift has been sold to Santa Maria Airport in the Azores.
