Electricity company, ENEL Romania has ordered 33 vehicles from Oil & Steel and PM.

Following the recent acquisition of two of Romania's major electricity companies, Distributie Banat and Distributie Dobrogea, Italian company ENEL has ordered 25 Oil & Steel platforms and eight PM truck mounted cranes for its Romanian operation.

The platforms bound for Romania are the Scorpion 1490 series, mounted on Nissan Cabstars, which can reach heights of 14m and offer a 9m outreach. These vehicles have been fitted with the same safety devices and options as the 574 Mercedes Sprinter-mounted platforms due to be delivered to ENEL Italia.

Oil & Steel and PM are both part of the Italian PM Group.
