AFI Rentals has added 50 Zoomlion electric scissor lifts to its fleet.

The 15ft working height ZS1530DC micro scissors will form part of AFI’s ‘smaller electric fleet’ said the company, which includes the 12ft working height S12E and 19ft S19E, and will be available in the AFI Rentals fleet immediately.

The lightweight units weigh in at 895kg, meaning they fit into most service lifts and offer a platform capacity of 240kg. The units offer a direct electric drive system and proportional controls for easy movement.

Nick Higgins, COO of AFI group of companies, said, “We have expanded the range of smaller electric scissor lifts available to hire as they are so popular with our customers and ideal for low and tight access works.

“The investment forms part of a wider commitment to replace our powered access fleet with specialist hybrid or electric equipment to keep up with market demand and comply with increasingly strict emissions regulations.”
