First Skyjack hybrids to Germany
17 June 2025
Skyjack has made the first delivery in Germany of its new hybrid boom lift, the SJ60 AJHE+. Two units of the model were ordered by longstanding customer Wocken Industriepartner.

Delivered on 7 May to Wocken’s Meppen headquarters, the hybrid electric rough terrain articulated boom offers three modes of operation: with electric, automatic, and manual.
“We are thrilled to debut the SJ60 AJHE+ in Germany and couldn’t be happier that our valued longtime customer Wocken is the first to carry this new boom,” said Andreas Stumpf, VP of Sales & Operations EMEA, Skyjack. “Our new hybrid line has been developed to provide a clean, quiet, and sustainable rental solution featuring low emissions, lower operating costs, and increased utilisation to meet the needs of our customers.”

The SJ60 AJHE+ sits alongside the SJ45 AJHE+ in the hybrid line and includes Skyjack’s unique Easydrive system. Following the earlier all-electric boom launch in June of 2024, the hybrid range also offers high-performance AC electric traction, while pump/generator motors deliver high torque power and consistent multi-function capability.
This isn’t the first time 65-year-old company Wocken has been the first in Germany to take home a new Skyjack model, with the company also being the first in the country to take delivery of the SJ9664 RT, in 2021.
The company offers its lifts across from fourteen locations in northern and eastern Germany.
“The SJ60 AJHE+ is an environmentally friendly, sustainable choice for rental, one we’re happy to have as part of our fleet,” explained Jens Burrichter, Manager Rental Branch, Wocken, “We’ve enjoyed a strong relationship with Skyjack throughout our history, and we’re delighted to be the first in Germany to receive the machine.”
