The new 2500 RXBDJ has a removal basket further reducing its length when stowed for easy transport.

Omme Lift's new 2500 RXBDJ has a maximum working height of 25m, an outreach of up to 12.8m - 10m with a full 200kg basket load. A zero tail swing articulating riser gives 7m up-and-over free clearance at full stretch and a long movable jib makes the final positioning adjustment. The stowed length is 6.55m, but can be further reduced to 5.95m without the easily removable basket, standard width is 1.10m.

The lift is powered by a Kubota diesel engine for outdoor use but a 200Ah battery operates the lift in indoor environments. The battery means that there are no trailing extension cords linked to mains. When battery powered - it operates with minimum noise and without emissions.

The stabilisers allow the machine to be used on uneven levels up to 35%. Gradeability is also 35%, (19.3deg) and combined with the non-skid crawler belts the platform can be used on most terrains. These features are designed so that the machine can negotiate park and woodland areas and town centres where kerbs or other obstacles must be overcome.

The crawler chassis is designed for strength and to disperse the machine's weight across the base. This is important when operating on more sensitive surfaces such as tiles, marble, flagged foot paths, wooden floorings, or in applications where the platform is craned into storey buildings where high reach is required but low weight necessary.

Omme Lift 2500 RXBDJ is available from late spring 2012.
