The past week in equipment rental, July 4-10, 2024, saw the first showing of JCB’s new concept hydrogen generator.

The UK-based equipment manufacturer announced it has taken “another major step” in the process of evaluating hydrogen as a fuel of the future. Shown at the Hillhead show in the UK last month, the G60RS H is powered by a JCB hydrogen combustion engine that is said to deliver the same power, performance and efficiency as its diesel equivalent but with zero-emissions.
