GEDA building new headquarters in Germany

GEDA GmbH, which manufactures construction hoists and industrial hoists, is currently building its new headquarters in Asbach-Bäumenheim, Germany.

The company is utilizing its own GEDA 2 PK hoist, which transports a crane operator approximately 30 meters to their perch above a jobsite at a rate of 24 meters/minute, during the headquarters’ construction.

The new building will consist of 6000 sq. ft. of office space for 220 GEDA employees, as well as a publicly accessible restaurant.

Additionally, the final structure will feature a permanently installed GEDA lift, which will connect the floors and become a central part of the building, the company said.

After a topping-out ceremony in April to mark the completion of the building’s skeleton, construction will continue until the headquarters’ scheduled opening in spring 2024.
