George Mihalko: 1939-2023

Scaffold industry veteran George Mihalko died on Feb. 11, 2023. He was 83 years old.

Born in Manhattan, NY on March 20, 1939, Mihalko graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, NJ with a degree in marketing and worked for more than three decades in the scaffold and construction industries. Most recently, Mihalko served as vice president of NJ-based Scaffolding Today, retiring at the age of 82 due to health complications.

Mihalko was predeceased by his parents, wife Grace (2015) and his brother, Emil. He is survived by his children, George M. Mihalko and his wife Nadine, and Gina Fox and her husband Brian. He has four grandchildren: Liam and Kate Fox and Ryan and Alicia Mihalko.
