HKL Baumaschinen has acquired Aicheler Baumaschinen Service in Herrenberg, strengthening its presence in the Baden-Württemberg region of south west Germany. The price was not disclosed.
Aicheler, which has been operating for more than 30 years, also had a location in nearbye Stockach, which is not part of the acquisition and will continue to operate under the Aicheler name.
Andreas Schilling, HKL branch manager Stuttgart, said; “With the new Center in Herrenberg, we are strategically expanding our presence in Baden-Württemberg.
“Being close to our customers is crucial for us – it forms the foundation for partnership-based collaboration, practical solutions, and sustainable success.”
HKL said that for customers, the acquisition and continuation of the Herrenberg site means a significantly larger selection of machines and equipment.
Family-owned HKL operates more than 180 depots, including specialist centres for modular buildings, aerial work platforms, telehandlers, and power. It has 1,650 employees and revenues in 2024 were more than €500 million.
