HSS delays results to consider ‘strategic initiatives’

UK rental company HSS Hire Group said it may not file its annual accounts before the deadline of 30 September because it is “actively advancing a range of promising commercial and strategic initiatives focused on long term value creation”.

It said a further announcement would be made in due course.

The company said there was no certainty that it would be able to publish its annual report and accounts for the 15 month period to 31 March 2025. If it does not, its shares would be temporarily suspended from trading.

HSS operates through two separate, complementary businesses: HSS ProService, a digital marketplace for equipment hire, training, fuel, equipment sales and building materials; and The Hire Services Company, which is the traditional, depot-based rental operation, with a network of 130 locations.
