21 January 2021
Aerial platform manufacturer Oil & Steel has made changes to its international sales team. The company has named Roberto Veronesi as its new export sales manager and has also expanded the scope of its current Italian sales director to include Slovenia and Croatia.
Described as having extensive knowledge of worldwide markets, Veronesi’s new export sales duties will see him play a “key role” in helping the company to further its ongoing internationalisation project.
Veronesi said, “Being chosen to share my experience and enthusiasm with a large number of professionals, seriously dedicated to innovation, really makes me proud. It’s a great challenge, I know. But our team is greater and together I believe we will overcome every difficulty and will take Oil & Steel to the level it deserves, anywhere in the world”.
Alongside Veronesi’s appointment, the company’s sales director for Italy, Fulvio Frunzio, will see his role expand. Oil & Steel announced that the long-time director will now also be responsible for sales in the Slovenian and Croatian markets.
Frunzio said, “My experience with Slovenian and Croatian markets started in the pre-Covid era, when it was possible to visit and meet existing and potential customers with whom I have established positive relationships that have led to excellent results. I want to pass on my Italian experience to these two countries too, because I believe relationships are very important and are the basis for success. “
Speaking of the recent changes to its sales team, Oil & Steel’s general manager Fabrizio Girotti, said, “I am pleased to announce these new appointments that will contribute to the development of new markets and will give a further boost to Oil & Steel’s relaunch project.
