International promotions at Ruthmann

Longstanding Ruthmann employee Christian Roß has been appointed head of international sales at the company.

In another promotion at the Germany-based company, Marius Wiesmann has taken over the position of export team leader.

Roß began his career at Ruthmann in 1997 as an industrial clerk at and has held various positions in service and sales, including area sales manager north, team leader field sales Germany and most recently head of sales in Germany – a role which he retains.

In addition to his activities in Germany, Roß has taken on responsibility for the international sales business together with Wiesmann, in the role of team leader export.

Roß reports directly to Stefan Linnemann, Ruthmann’s head of sales and marketing, who welcomed him to the role.

“His many years of experience in sales and his knowledge of the international market will help us strengthen our global business relationships and open up new markets,” said Linnemann.

Wiesmann started as an industrial clerk apprentice at Ruthmann in 2012 and trained part-time to become a business administrator. He has been working in sales export since October 2015 and has his own country responsibility.

Wiesmann will manage all export activities and provide his team with technical support in day-to-day operations. In addition, together with Linnemann, he will drive the development of markets that have not yet been tapped and seek international key account customers.

Linnemann recognised Wiesmann’s extensive experience in the export market and added. “We are convinced that both Christian Roß and Marius Wiesmann will master their new tasks with great success.”
