Italian rental for Genie boom

Italian rental company Massucco T has received it latest Genie ZX-135/70 articulating boom lift.

Five units of the model have been delivered to the company over the last two years.

Massucco T, which has been in the Italian rental market for 60 years and is present in a range of locations, chose the ZX-135/70 boom lifts in response to market demand for a tall machine with a good load capacity and an extendible jib that is easy to transport.

The unit offers the manufacturer’s Mini X-Chassis system and an up-and-over height of 23.1m, 21.26m outreach, and Genie’s Jib-Extend, with a range of 3.66m to 6.10m and 110° vertical rotation, as well as a load capacity of 272 kg.

Jacopo Filipetto, Sales Manager of Massucco T’s branch in Venaria, said, “The function of driving at maximum height, without retracting the boom completely, allows the machine to be moved directly to the next position with the boom fully raised; this function is essential and saves a lot of time when moving between one point and another on the jobsite, which also reduces costs for the end customer, who can complete the work sooner.”

The intuitive control system offers menu-based adjustments for machine and component calibration, as well as multilingual on-screen system diagnostics.
