JCB to create 450 new jobs

JCB is to recruit 450 agency employees and offer hundreds of permanent contracts to its existing agency staff, as the international equipment and construction markets rebound from the Coronavirus pandemic.

The UK-based equipment manufacturer said it would create the new shop floor posts at its Staffordshire, Derbyshire and Wrexham factories.

Part of a new recruite drive, the company will also offer permanent contracts to some of its existing agency workers. Around 400 assemblers, welders, fabricators and CNC machinists will be offered the permanent contracts, provided they have at least a year of experience...Sign in to continue reading.
