Swedish rental company Lambertsson has appointed five new sales managers to its team as it seeks to meet growing demand from “external” customers.

Lambertsson’s biggest client is currently its parent company, contractor Peab, but it says the number of independent companies looking to rent construction equipment means it has the opportunity to grow its market share.

Erik Junker, Chief Operating Officer at Lambertsson, said, “We have an attractive offer and want to continue to grow.

“Therefore, we have now appointed five new regional sales managers to get closer to current and future customers. We are setting up a new organization that will look the same across the country.”

One of the new sales managers is Jennifer Svensson, who has been promoted from her previous position as manager of Lambertsson’s Malmö branch, one of the company’s largest.

Svensson said; “I look forward to the opportunity to develop and set the structure around sales. It will really be super fun to have the opportunity to contribute to the business growing and developing both short-term and long-term.”

According to Lambertsson, which recently secured a major contract with paper packaging specialist Stora Enso, its expanded sales teams will manage both its largest existing accounts and work to attract new customers.

“They understand the needs of the industry and know what expertise we can offer customers, whether it’s a smaller building or a project that costs two billion kronor,” said Junker.

The company, which operates as two separate divisions under contractor Peab and has a number of specialist subsidiaries, primarily serves the construction and industrial sectors. It provides equipment rental packages for whole projects as well machinery and crane rental for standard hire.
