Mazzotta Rentals appoints COO

Chris Pera, previously of ABLE Equipment Rentals and HiReach Group, has joined Mazzotta Rentals, Inc. as chief operating officer (COO).
Pera most recently oversaw the growth of ABLE and its subsequent sale to United Rentals in the first quarter of 2023. He also founded HiReach Group, which was sold to Sunbelt two years after its formation.

Mazzotta Rentals was founded in 1963 and is now one of the largest independent equipment rental companies in New England, USA, with locations in Connecticut and Massachusetts. It operates throughout New England and New York.
Joseph Mazzotta, CEO of Mazzotta Equipment Rental, said; “Chris is a key addition to our team and will help us strategically position the company as we expand our footprint throughout the Northeast and into the Mid-Atlantic region.”
Pera’s career in rental includes a period as regional manager for Sunbelt Rentals and as president of Modern Equipment Sales & Rental Company.
