New Bronto US base set to start operations

Finnish truck mount manufacturer Bronto Skylift has confirmed that operations at its new Service Centre in Rhome, near Dallas, Texas, will begin before the end of 2025.

The company said its marks a significant milestone in the company’s commitment to providing exceptional service and support in the US. Work at Bronto’s current location in Orlando, Florida, will be transferred to Rhome at the beginning of 2026.

In addition to local mounting and maintenance operations, Texas Service Center offers a variety services such as training, product support, rebuilds and upgrades.

Also new is Matias Takala, Bronto Skylift’s, US Service Manager, who has 14 years of experience in the industry. He said, “This strategic move significantly improves our service capabilities here in the US. The goal is to bring the factory level capabilities closer to the customer.”

Having worked in rental and blade repair companies in several positions from operator to fleet and operations management, Takala knows the importance of great service support, added Juha Pietilä, Senior Manager, Global Service of Bronto Skylift.

“We are thrilled to have Matias at the helm of our local service operations. His extensive experience of the industry and customer’s needs is a great addition to our global service team.”

Having a larger local spare part stock will allow the company to provide most common spares with next day delivery almost anywhere in the US.

Recruitments to strengthen the team are under way and first service works are just about to start.

First up will be a midlife refurbishment for a well-served S150XDT from Excel High Reach’s rental fleet.
