New Hiboo manager tasked with continuing UK growth

French fleet management specialist Hiboo is expanding its footprint in the UK under the leadership of Ciaran Higgins.

Hiboo recently entered the UK market through partnerships with Halomec, that optimises the productivity of plant machinery, through joining the CPA, working with Flannery, Potter Plant, Blackwood and MCS Rental Software.

The company now wants to further develop its activities, which focus on data intelligence and decarbonization of vehicle fleets and construction machinery, in the UK market where it already manages the data of 10000 units connected to its platform.

Higgins comes from a family background in waste disposal in Ireland, Higgins Waste, and has long been passionate about the construction industry. Before joining Hiboo, he worked with construction technology startups in the US, focusing on CRM and safety technology solutions that bridged the gap between operations and digital tools.

Large scale infrastructure

According to Hiboo, Higgins has already impacted the company’s first expansion efforts in the UK, concentrating on large-scale joint venture infrastructure projects, such as Hinkley point C, and the plant hire sector, including Flannery, where accurate, automated data sharing across the supply chain is a key challenge.

Clement Benard, Hiboo’s CEO, said, “We are very confident in the growth potential of the British market for our activities and Ciaran is the ideal choice to accelerate our development there. He believes that effective data management and actionable insights for people in the field can unlock major performance gains and help businesses navigate with increasingly tight margins.

“Our approach is never to prescribe solutions but to deeply understand each business and identify the most effective strategy for implementation based on its unique needs.”
