The new SJ5545 E electric drive lift is designed for indoor and outdoor use and has a working height of 51ft (15.54m) and a load capacity of 770lbs (394kg). The E-Drive model boasts intelligent adaptive variable speed brushless drive system for optimised duty cycles, and smooth automatic transition from high to low speed on a grade including 25% gradeability. Fully proportional drive and lift controls offer improved torque and traction.

The scissor stack design of the SJ5545 E features fully welded cross-bracing that increases rigidity and improves operator comfort at height. Its is drivable at full height and offers a two-person wind-rating at 22ft (6.7m).

The maximized width of the robust, all-steel, anti-slip platform provides the largest working areas in its class, said the company, while minimizing space between platform and workface.

The platform incorporates multiple lanyard attachment points and a manually operated 3ft (0.90 m) roll-out extension deck for an optimized work area and up-and-over capability. The modular rail system easily folds down to reduce stowed height for transportation.

“The new SJ5545 E has proven, easy-to-understand control systems, with an on-board digital diagnostics display that allows operators to see real-time, simple language readouts, and load-sensing information. No plug-in calibration is necessary for day-to-day troubleshooting, all major service points are easily accessible, and common parts across our slab scissor range make for straightforward maintenance and repairs,” said Corey Connolly, Skyjack’s Head of Product Management.”

The lift is available in the North American and European regions.
