Socage sets up UK subsidiary

Italian vehicle mount and spider lift specialist Socage has announced a new subsidiary in UK, led by longstanding UK access professional Craig Rooke.

The subsidiary is designed to offer solutions targeted to the British market, said Fiorenzo Flisi, CEO of Socage. “This new opening is further proof of Socage’s commitment to being ever closer to its customers, wherever they are in the world, offering not only technically advanced products but also a concrete and reliable presence in the territory.”

Flisi added, “The UK market is one of the most dynamic in the world and we are confident that our experience and commitment to excellence will allow us to offer unique value to our customers.”

Craig Rooke brings significant experience in the powered access industry over the last 24 years, including at Teupen, Falcon Lifts, CTE UK and most recently Sinoboom, and will help consolidate the Socage brand in the UK, said the company. 

Rooke, who becomes Managing Director of Socage UK, commented, “I was so pleased to get the personal call from Mr Flisi to hear about his plans for the UK and after visiting the HQ in Carpi, Italy to further discuss and have a tour of the facilities it was a very easy decision to join the company on what is a very exciting time.”

Alongside its commercial activities, Socage UK will focus on developing a comprehensive after-sales service programme with rapid response times throughout the country.

The first official event for the new branch will be Vertikal Days 2025, to be held 10 -11 September at the Newark Showground, where Socage UK will be present with a dedicated stand showcasing the company’s range of products.
