Socage to launch 32m on 7.5t chassis at Intermat

Italian manufacturer Socage will show a new compact 32m machine at Intermat mounted on a 7.5t chassis. The DAJ332 has a lightweight hydraulic jib, which, Socage said, gives it the ability to carry out boom articulations that a standard double articulated platform could not perform.

DAJ332 has a 32m working height and a maximum basket load of 225 kg. The maximum outreach is 20m - possible with a 80 kg load, with the maximum load of 225kg the boom has a 17.8m outreach.

The safe working envelope is automatically calculated according to the positioning of the hydraulic extendable outriggers. The system is the same as that used on Socage's larger TJ series, which starts at 12t GVWs.

The DAJ332 will be shown mounted on a Mitsubishi Canter truck, which has a 3850mm wheelbase and the complete package is 7200mm long and 3150mm high. Socage has designed the machine to be compact enough for use in urban centres where there is high traffic density.

Alongside the new DAJ332, Socage will show another four models including: A314 UP mounted on Piaggio Porter, DA324 mounted on Renault Maxity, T320 also mounted on Renault Maxity and the new TJ35 mounted on Mercedes Axor 1829. The new A314 NAT mounted on the electric powered truck with zero emissions Faam Ecomile, will be shown at the IPAF stand.
