UK powered access rental company Star Platforms has appointed Giuseppe ‘Pep’ Ventrella as its technical director.

Ventrella has been working for the company for almost five years as service manager, during which he has established robust engineering processes and standards across the business. Before joining Star Platforms, he gained more than 20 years of experience across various engineering roles within the access industry.

Ventrella will be responsible for overseeing all engineering activities, maintaining technical standards and ensuring legislative compliance, while working with the team and equipment manufacturers to continuously improve engineering standards within the business.

Ventrella said, “I am delighted to be given this position at such an exciting time for the business. The company has continuously developed and promoted from within, which is a fantastic message to our workforce, potential employees and the industry. Star Platforms has built its brand on outstanding service and quality standards; I work with an incredible team and look forward to exploring new opportunities for the department.
