The factory features state-of-the-art welding via multi-bay robotic machinery and the opportunity for expansion. The company’s first shipments have already left the plant, heading for the U.S. east and gulf coast regions, Managing Director Knud Højland said.

StepUp, a division of Sunshine Enterprises, was founded in 1998 in Memphis. It specializes in producing scaffolding and related access equipment for the North American market, including frame and brace scaffold, ringlock scaffold, cuplock scaffold, shoring products and more.

SA will report on additional details following the company’s official ribbon-cutting ceremony later this month, as well as within our full report following an exclusive interview with StepUp’s Peter Baxter and Højland for the next issue.
