Swedish rental veterans create Albanian rental company
20 November 2025
Three Swedish veterans of the equipment rental sector and business start-ups have created a new rental business in Albania called SveaRental.
The new business, whose parent company is Rental Invest Sweden AB, has been established by former Cramo and Ramirent manager Lars Celsing, alongside Joakim Dahlgren, who is CEO of Persson Hyrmaskiner and board member of Sweden’s rental association, and Anders Flodin, who has decades of experience in finance and real estate.
The new business will start operations in Tirana and Durrës with an initial focus on hand tools, compact access equipment and light construction machinery.
It said it aimed to “introduce Nordic service standards and efficiency to the Albanian market” and that the launch “marks an important milestone in expanding professional rental services in the Balkans, with further growth plans already under development.”
Lars Celsing, who will be a board member of SveaRental, said; “Our assessment is that this region is one of the fastest-growing areas in Europe, driven largely by Albania’s strategic investments in tourism and infrastructure.
“After numerous visits and extensive local research, we are convinced that Albania is a future hotspot for rental services.”
The company has invested in its own delivery vehicles to provide direct transport to customer job sites.
SveaRental said its investors had more than 600 years of combined experience in the equipment rental industry.
It said the company had been operating in “stealth mode” for more than two years, preparing its market entry. All funding is being provided by Rental Invest Sweden AB.
All three men are board members of Rental Invest Sweden, with Flodin as board chairman. Both Celcing and Flodin will be board members of SveaRental.
