Teupen ‘new concept’ launch
13 February 2024
Spider lift specialist Teupen is launching a new model, including innovative updates to the chassis, turret, boom sections and jib.
The new articulated LEO27GTplus from Teupen, will be shown for the first time on an international stage at the Intermat exhibition in Paris, France, taking place 24-27 April this year.
Based on Teupen’s existing design which sees all cable and hydraulic hoses stored internally, to protect against environmental conditions, such as weather, dirt and dust, the latest compact model also includes flexible set up in confined spaces, including between rows of seats.
The LEO27GTplus has a maximum working height of 27m and a maximum horizontal outreach of 14.30m at 100kg platform capacity.
As standard, the machine is equipped with hydraulic height and width adjustable crawler tracks and a radio remote control. Also included as standard is a 10.8 kW (14.7 hp) Kubota diesel engine for outdoor use in combination with a 230-volt electric motor for indoor use.
In addition, the model is equipped with a new colour display in the platform, the Fuzzy V control, as well as wider and longer non-marking rubber tracks.
Along with the usual set-up positions (wide/wide, wide/narrow, narrow/narrow), the machine has an additional position - front narrow/rear wide or vice versa. The new version enables the machine to set up between the rows of seats and to work in confined areas, such as churches or lecture halls at universities.
A special feature of the machine is its small transport width. With a width of 0.89 m and a removable platform, manoeuvring and working in confined environments is easy.
Features such as the 450° swivel range, the 180° rotatable platform and the 165° movable jib enable flexible use under difficult working conditions.
Optionally, the LEO27GTplus has a material hoist with a capacity of 300kg, enabling a range of additional application possibilities.
