UpRight appoints first Chinese distributors

UpRight was recently able to confirm its first Chinese distributors at the company's first distributor conference in the country.

Darren Kell chief executive officer of Tanfield said, "UpRight has worked closely with various companies in China over the past three years, in order to find the right partners to take us forward. We have now found those partners, so we wanted to formally celebrate their appointment as UpRight distributors. "

The seven companies appointed as official distributors are: Guangzhou Weicheng Trading Co. Ltd; Xiamen Linyang Industrial & Trading Co. Ltd; Shanghai Universal Equipment Co. Ltd; Xi'An Meiyida Cleaning Equipment Co. Ltd; Chuangmei Cleaning Equipment Co. Ltd; Goldbell Barnsburry (Shanghai) Equipment Leasing Co Ltd, Dalian Branch and Precede Machine & Equipment (Beijing) Co. Ltd. They are being supported with China-specific brochures, operator manuals and service documentation.

"These are all experienced, high quality operations with a great understanding of the powered access business and we are delighted to officially welcome them into the UpRight family," said Mr Kell.

The new distributors also toured UpRight's Chinese production facility where the company has been building machines for a year; focused primarily on the TM12 and the UL series. "We will expand the production facility in line with our growth in China," said Mr Kell.

UpRight's aim is to supply Chinese-built machines into the Chinese market; the TM12 continues to be produced at the UK Vigo Centre.
