Falcon spider lift launch added to Mateco fleet
22 February 2024
Mateco has updated its spider fleet with a newly-launched model from Falcon.
Having experienced success with the Falcon 420 Double Track since it acquired in 2008, Mateco recognized the evolving landscape of the industry and the need for a more advanced solution, which has led to the revent investment in a 430Vario.
The new 4340 Vario model boasts a range of features that surpass its predecessor, the Falcon 420 Double Track, says the manufacturer. Offering a 43m working height and substantial reach of 19m, and 200kg in the basket, its low weight of 8300kg is also an important feature.
As standard the 430 Vario provides dual-power and is fitted with a Stage V-compliant Kubota diesel engine and a rechargeable battery pack.
There are also several advanced safety features, including an automatic levelling system, which precisely positions the lift for optimum stability and reach. The model’s variable tracks are height and width adjustable, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.
All Falcon models have the option of a collision detection system, which alerts the operator when the lift gets too close to an object. In addition, optional safety features such as a slope alarm and an anemometer wind warning system are available.
One recognisable feature on most Falcons is the unique double fly-jib which allows the operator to work in difficult to reach areas where other types of MEWPs are unable to access.
“It’s not merely about delivering equipment; it’s about our commitment to be available for our partners and customer with our after-sales to ensure that Mateco’s investment continues to yield optimal performance,” said Brian Falck Schmidt, Sales Director Brian at Falcon Lifts. “Our service team stands ready to provide training and troubleshoot issue.”
