H&E Equipment Services has announced the opening of another new branch in the US, adding a fifth location to its equipment rental network in Alabama.

Located in the city of Mobile, the branch offers general construction and industrial equipment and also houses specialist selections of aerial lifts, telescopic forklifts, generators and light towers, from manufacturers including Allmand, Gehl, Generac Mobile, Genie, JCB, JLG, Skyjack and others.

While the addition of the Mobile branch will enhance the market coverage of H&E’s other Alabama locations in Birmingham, Dothan, Huntsville, and Opelika locations, it primarily serves to extend the company’s reach along the Gulf Coast.

Sean Preece, Branch Manager at H&E Equipment Services, said, “Our new Mobile branch extends our Gulf Coast reach and fills in a geographic gap between our existing facilities in New Orleans to the west and Fort Walton Beach to the east.

“Just off I-10 and near I-65 and various state highways, we are favorably positioned to efficiently move equipment to any job site in Mobile and neighboring markets. We serve customers from Gulfport, Mississippi, to the Florida state line and points north.”

He added, “Positive economic conditions in the area point to a strong, long-term, non-residential construction forecast, and we have a variety of equipment in our fleet to supply any of those projects.”

The addition of the Mobile branch comes just a week after H&E opened locations in Texas, Colorado and California, as part of the company’s plans to open up to 15 - and no less 10 - new locations in the US this year alone.

H&E opens three new branches U.S.-based equipment rental company aiming to open a total of six new locations in Q2
