Profit rise for Haulotte

Haulotte has reported a significant profit rise in its 2024 financial results, despite “a global aerial platform market that showed signs of slowing down throughout 2024 across all regions.”

The €12 million increase in operating profit (before exchange gains and losses) to €43 million, represented a growth of 39%, compared to 2023.

Haulotte’s HA16 E Haulotte’s HA16 E was added to the Pulseo line earlier this year.

Haulotte said the positive result was mainly due to the impact of passing on increases in costs to the price of equipment, as well as there being an improvement in component prices.

The group also reported a positive update to its net dept which is down by €40 million to €200 million in the period, mainly due to higher gross cash flows from operations and a reduction in working capital requirement.

However, the total revenue for the financial year amounted to €634 million, down by -17% compared to 2023.

The profit update follows Haulotte’s fourth quarter revenue announcement in February, in which the company stated, “After a historic year in 2023, signs of a slowdown in the global aerial platform market were first observed in Europe since the second half of 2023, spread to all regions of the world throughout 2024.”

Haulotte added that it was unable to forecast sales for the 2025 financial year. “In an environment currently lacking visibility across all markets, the group is not in a position to commit to a sales level or current operating margin for 2025 but will do so as soon as conditions allow.

“During this period, Haulotte will continue to rely on its capacity for innovation and its customer relationship while maintaining its efforts to optimize inventory level and control operational expenses.”
