Sinoboom makes senior European appointments

Sinboom has made two further apppointments in Europe. Rik Kiddle becomes European Sales Director, while Craig Rooke takes up the position of UK Managing Director.
Kiddle will be responsible for driving sales through direct and distribution channels. His focus will be to develop the Sinoboom presence within major key accounts, as well as adding distribution partners to create a wider footprint across the region.
Previously, Kiddel was with JCB for more than 25 years holding various senior sales and marketing positions. Post JCB, he moved to Terex Finlay as Global Sales and Marketing Director before joining the Terex Finlay UK distributor Finlay Group (now Molson Finlay).
Kiddle Said, “Having spent many years in the Construction & Aggregate Processing industries, I am looking forward to immersing myself into the MEWP business, re-acquainting myself with many customers and further developing the Sinoboom European presence and share.”
UK focus
Rooke will build a sales and support business, working not only with the Sinoboom UK distribution partners, Pinnacle
Platforms and Lolex, but also developing major key accounts business in the market.
He brings significant experience in the powered access industry over the last 24 years, including at Teupen, Falcon Lifts anf most recently as Managing Director at CTE UK.
Rooke, said “I very much look forward to working closely with our dealers in this region and to begin selling directly to the UK customer base which is one of the best and highly regarded in the world. Our plan will be to be easy and straightforward to deal with.”
Richard Butler, Sinoboom’s European CEO, added that the appointments are part of a wider strategic plan to grow market share. And, he said, “to provide both our existing and new customers, exceptional levels of service and support but more importantly to make doing business with Sinoboom as easy as possible.
“Rik and Craig bring an immense amount of experience to our Sinoboom Europe team, and I know that they will both have an immediate impact as we develop both our direct sales and distribution channels across the region.”
