Sinoboom Brazil appointment to aid export target

Marcelo Yamane has been appointed as business development director at Sinoboom Brazil, with the aim of helping the manufacturer meet its target of achieving 50% of its sales in global export markets. 

An expert of more than 30 years in the access and construction equipment sector, Yamane was most recently COO at Brazilian energy solution provider Tecnogera Geradores. Prior to that he held a number of key positions at Brazil’s largest rental company Mills, culminating in the role of managing director of the rental business unit. 

In this newly created role at Sinoboom Brazil, Yamane has responsibility for regional team building, the formulation and implementation of regional strategies and sales targets, key account development, and the development of the Sinoboom brand in Brazil. He reports directly to Dawei He, Sinoboom overseas sales and marketing director.

Yamane said, “I am delighted to join the Sinoboom team, and anticipate great achievements for this outstanding equipment brand in the Brazilian market.”

Commenting on Yamane’s appointment, Dawei He said, “With our intention to achieve 50% of our sales revenue from the international overseas market, Sinoboom is determined to continue building a strong and professional international team.

“Marcelo Yamane brings extensive experience and has excellent knowledge of the Brazil market, and is a strong team player. We welcome him on board and wish him great success as part of the Sinoboom family.”
