Sinoboom appoints UK General Manager

Sinoboom UK has announced the appointment of John Chandler as its new UK General Manager. effective July 1,2025.

With over 15 years of leadership experience in the powered access and equipment rental industries, Sinoboom said Chandler brought deep industry knowledge and a proven track record of driving growth.

Chandler who starts the role at Sinoboom UK on 1 July, joins from Blade Access, the UK’s largest specialist in truck mounted lifts, where he served as Business Development Manager.

He also brings a distinguished background in the MEWP manufacturing sector, having held senior roles at Genie and JCB.

At JCB, he served as Access Sales Director, where he led global sales across EMEA, Middle East, APAC, and LATAM. During this period, he was responsible in developing international distribution networks and implementing growth strategies.

As Sales Director for UK and Ireland at Genie, Chandler played a key role in expanding strategic accounts and market share.
