New customer support chief appointed by Klipboard

Klipboard has announced the appointment of Chris Tocher as its chief customer support officer, as Chris Owen steps down from his role to retire after a distinguished career with the business.

Chris Tocher, who joined Klipboard in September 2025 in preparation for Chris Owen’s retirement, now steps into the role. Kilpboard is the software specialist that includes the rental software business previously called Insphire.

Since joining, Owen has led Klipboard’s technical support, cloud hosting, managed services, professional services and client success teams. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in building Klipboard’s customer support teams across the globe, helping to establish a strong, customer-centric foundation that continues to support the company’s growth today, said Klipboard. 

With more than 20 years of leadership experience spanning support, cloud and on-premise operations, service implementation, supply chain management and customer success for global enterprises, Tocher brings long expertise to the role, added the company.

His career includes senior leadership positions at Cisco and IMImobile, most recently leading global client services and operations functions.
